Our tax dollars can’t cover the cost of everything our hospital needs and vital donations from the community help bridge the gap between what the government can provide and what our patients need right now.

The giving spirit of our donors ensures that everyone from the tiniest newborns to the most vulnerable elderly patients have better access to ground breaking facilities, the latest equipment and updated infrastructure.

   There are a total of 3,850,000 tickets available for sale.
2. How much do tickets cost?
   20 tickets for $10.00,
   100 tickets for $20.00,
   250 tickets for $50.00.
3. Who can purchase tickets?
   Tickets may be purchased only by individuals who are 19 years of age or older and who are located in British Columbia at the time of purchase.
4. Can I request a specific ticket number?
   No. Ticket numbers are computer-generated using Random Number Generator (RNG) software.
5. When are the deadlines for ticket sales?
   Final ticket sales deadline: Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. PST.
6. When and where is the draw?
   The 50/50 draw will take place on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 4:00 p.m. PST at the Lions Gate Hospital Foundation office, located at 231 East 15th Street, North Vancouver, BC V7L 2L7. All ticket holders are welcome to attend.
7. What are the odds of winning?
   Odds of winning depend on the total number of tickets sold.
8. How does the 50/50 work?
   The 50/50 raffle divides the total ticket sales evenly between one winning ticket holder and Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. The maximum 50/50 payout is $426,250.00.
9. How will I know if I’ve won?
   The winner will be contacted by phone by Lions Gate Hospital Foundation. Winners will also be posted online at https://lghf122025.rafflenexus.com/winners on February 12, 2026.
10. Is my lottery ticket purchase tax deductible?
    No, lottery ticket purchases are not tax deductible. Canada Revenue Agency regulations do not permit lottery ticket purchases to be claimed as charitable donations.
11. Will my winnings be taxed?
    As mandated by Canada Revenue Agency, lottery winnings are not taxable and are not considered income or capital gains.
